Claire played the role of Young Cindy (Kate Burton) in the Golden Globe Award-winning HBO mini series Empire Falls (dir. Fred Schepisi). Other film and television credits include leading roles in the award-winning independent features Slings and Arrows and Filmic Achievement and appearances on Guiding Light and As the World Turns. Claire's regional theater credits include Enrico IV at American Conservatory Theater (dir. Carey Perloff), New Doors at The Guthrie Lab, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare Sedona, Flaming Guns of the Purple Sage at Stamford Center for the Arts, And Then They Came for Me at The George Street Playhouse, and Honour at The Sherman Playhouse. In New York she has appeared in Joe Calarco's School Daze, Tom O'Horgan's Greed/Flood, and Jonathan Leaf's The Germans in Paris, among others. She has performed her one-woman play Shakespeare's Difficult Women at NYC performance venues Chashama, Union Street Dance and Manhattan Theater Source.

Claire assisted writer/director Richard Nelson on the West Coast premier of his play Goodnight Children Everywhere at ACT. She has taught drama to kids and teens for America Reads' Literacy Program, The Guthrie Theater's MAX Conference, and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and currently teaches filmmaking workshops in the Los Angeles County Schools with Fresh-I Filmworx. Her work has received grants and awards from The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, The Lotta Crabtree Trusts, Fractured Atlas, Robert Rauschenberg's Change, Inc. Foundation and The Lynne Thigpen/Bobo Lewis Foundation. Claire has facilitated theater/dance-making workshops with the arts-services organization The Field and was a founding board member of the New York children's dance-theater company Treehouse Shakers. She is a graduate of the MFA Program at American Conservatory Theater.
